Poly Loot Best Stats: Damage, Health or Defense?

How stats work

When you level up, the game shows Pick a Stat to Increase! with three cards:

StatCard text
+1 DamageIncreases your damage to enemies!
+1 HealthIncreases your Health!
+1 DefenseDecreases damage taken from enemies!

You also get permanent Coin, Damage, Defense and Luck boosts from the Social Rewards tab (group, like, favorite and Discord), which do not use stat points.

What guide makers pick

  • ItzVexo: Damage first. His reasoning: if you do enough damage you one-shot enemies and do not need as much Health or Defense.
  • ItsChalls: Damage or Defense.
  • Radex Tips: Damage to clear faster, Defense if you want to survive more.
  • A reply under Chink’s Green Elemental video: “Obviously damage but don’t have it all in damage.”
  • Gravy Live put every point into Damage and died repeatedly to Pigs and Wolves around level 8, which is the case against going 100% Damage.

Our suggestion

  1. Levels 1-20: mostly Damage. Grasslands mobs have little HP (a Wolf has 320-480), so killing faster saves the most time.
  2. Before the cave: add some Health. The Spider hits for 800-1,200.
  3. Before the Jungle (level 80): balance Health and Defense in. Gorillas hit for 4,520-6,780 and the Triple Head Cobra for 8,800-13,200 per hit, and the Jungle is PvP ON.

Stat points are not the only damage lever: your weapon’s tier and its upgrade level at the Upgrade station raise its damage too.

How to reset stat points

Use a Reset Point, an Epic item whose description reads “Refunds every stat point you’ve spent. Use it on the stats page to rebuild from scratch.” Its Index page lists three sources:

  • the daily login track,
  • the Forever Pack in the store,
  • the Merchant, which stocks one 5 times in 100.

Release Pack 1 in the Robux store also contains 10. See the items page for everything else the Merchant can roll.
