The Nether Set screen says Secret items are "always 49% - 123% better than your best item", and the Nether Greatsword showed 25.4K to 94.3K damage.

The Merchant's stock rolls from a pool: the Index lists it as a source of Armor Tier Scrolls (24/100), Reset Points (5/100) and shards, so check it each time the timer resets. Totems are placed on the ground; put the XP or Coin totem where mobs spawn.
Shop FAQ
Is there anything free in the Poly Loot shop?
Yes. The Forever Pack has several free steps between paid ones and a reset timer (8 hours 25 minutes left in Gravy Live's video), ItzVexo claims a free 2.5K Coins reward in the store, and playtime and daily rewards are free. The Merchant sells totems, potions and shards for Coins.
Can you still get the Nether Set?
It was a limited store banner: 80 Robux for one roll, 200 for three and 640 for ten, with a Nether Greatsword at 1%. It still shows in Gravy Live's September 16 video, but commenters on Chink's videos say it has since left the store. Check the store in game before counting on it.
Which game pass is worth it?
Extra Loot Drop and Drop Luck both change what drops: Extra Loot Drop adds one more loot roll to every kill, bosses included, and "stacks with Drop Luck". VIP gives 1.25x XP and Coins. None of them are needed to finish the current content.
